July 21 - Celtic Heritage Festival
Vendors, musical entertainment, dancers and more at our 15th annual Celtic Festival in honor of the Scottish heritage of the Keith, Graeme, and Fergusson families. Admission $10/person, $5/child (6-17), 5 & under free. Family price $30 (includes 2 adults and 2 or more children).
August 26 - Yellow Fever Living History
A living history theater presentation of the Yellow Fever Epidemic of 1793 and the impact it had on the residents of Graeme Park.
Late Summer - Theatre Horizon's Shakespeare in the Park
Shakespeare is coming to the park this July and local theatre lovers are welcome to bring picnic blankets and beach chairs as live actors present the Bard’s summertime comedy, a love story of dueling wits and daring betrayal.
Director Erin Frederick who has previously worked with the Walnut Street Theater and the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire directs the local-area ensemble in this classic comedy by one of the most recognized playwrights in history. As You Like It follows the merry adventures of Rosalind, a beloved optimist, and her quest for true love amid the schemes of two warring brothers. Theatre Horizon’s artistic director, Erin Reilly says she is “looking forward to bringing this classic play to life in the outdoors, an atmosphere similar to the Globe Theater used during the time of Shakespeare himself. There is nothing more sublime than rolling out a picnic blanket on the grass and listening to Shakespeare’s poetry.”
September 19 - Homeschool Day
Homeschooling families are invited out for a day of interactive activities at Graeme Park.
September 22 - Dog Faire at Graeme Park
Bring your BFF (best furry friend) out for a day of showing off his tricks or good looks, shopping with vendors, and visiting with rescues.
October 26 and 27 Moonlight Tours
Learn about what haunts Graeme Park in this Living History Theater presentation on the history of Graeme Park and the “ghostly” experiences people have had here over the centuries. Reservations required.
November 3 - Paranormal Investigations
