Join us as we traverse 1776 through the turn of the 20th century in celebration of freedom and independence. The first public reading of the Declaration of Independence was held on July 8, 1776, and our colonial dressed volunteers will follow suit by reenacting this reading. Independence Day became a Federal holiday in 1870 and
