Lunch & Learn: An Afternoon with Alice Paul

| $35Join historic interpreter Chris Flynn as she presents Alice Paul. Dressed in character, Flynn portrays Alice as she fights for the right for women to vote. Alice Paul was a wealthy, well-educated, practicing Quaker, called to public service by her faith. She is considered the architect of the writing and passage of the 19th Amendment of the Constitution, which awarded women across the county the right to vote.
Chris Flynn is a lifelong Bucks County resident, and retired from a career in education with the Central Bucks School District. She’s an active member of the Bucks County League of Women Voters and a member of The Victorian Dance Ensemble, which teaches and performs Civil War era dances at historical reenactments and events.
