SOLD OUT – The “Dead” of Summer
It’s the dead of summer, 1919, and you’re invited to join us for a theatrical, historically-based séance in the spooky, candlelit parlor of the Keith House at Graeme Park. Members and volunteers (or interested volunteers) and their families are invited to join us for the Annual Meeting of the Friends of Graeme Park, followed by a volunteer appreciation dinner. Members in good standing will receive one vote per household on Board elections and bylaw changes if any (details to come). The dinner menu will be picnic/BBQ fare as in the past. Join us for an in-depth investigation of the Keith House at Graeme Park. Long rumored to be Horsham's most haunted mansion, paranormal happenings have been reported here since the early 19th century when Elizabeth Graeme passed away. Christmas in the colonies was celebrated differently, and sometimes not at all, by each ethnic group who settled here, bringing traditions from their homeland. Graeme Park was home to the Scottish Keith and Graeme families, Irish and German servants, enslaved workers, and later the Quaker Penroses. Kids 3-7 years old are invited to have cookies and cocoa with Santa and Mrs. Claus while Mrs. Claus reads them a classic Christmas story.
