Join us for a day of hands-on learning just for homeschooling families. Play colonial games, participate in the chores children would have done in the 18th century, see a hearth cooking demonstration, meet some sheep, write with a quill and ink, learn archery (a.m.) or drill with the militia (p.m.) and tour the historic Keith House. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Graeme Park has long been rumored to be "the most haunted house in Horsham" with legends of Elizabeth's ghost circulating back to shortly after her death in 1801. Your Lantern Tour guide will take you through the Keith House and will tell you some of the early stories, more recent experiences of our staff and volunteers, and evidence collected over numerous paranormal investigations. The Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission (PHMC) will celebrate the commonwealth’s 338th birthday on Charter Day, Sunday, March 10, with free admission to many of the historic sites and museums along the Pennsylvania Trails of History, including Graeme Park. This annual celebration of the granting of the Pennsylvania Charter to William Penn by Charles II gives families a chance to visit multiple sites in one day, or to check out the historic site right in their back yards! Enjoy a Day of Fun and Learning at this 18th Century Plantation. The Keith House at Graeme Park is a National Historic Landmark built c. 1722 as the summer home of Sir William Keith, then Governor of Pennsylvania. The Georgian style mansion was later owned and updated by Dr. Thomas Graeme and, during the Revolution, the writer Elizabeth Graeme Fergusson called the estate home.
